Shady Lady Bed & Breakfast
Ready for a dose of true Nevada personality to go along with your Free-Range Art Highway discoveries? Search no further than the Shady Lady Bed & Breakfast, situated between Beatty and Goldfield along Nevada’s US Highway 95. Once one of the most famous legal brothels in the Silver State, this lodging honored the West’s oldest profession up until 2014. New owners have taken over in the years since, offering up a different type of room-for-rent by converting the property into a cozy B&B for an Uncommon Overnighter experience you won’t forget.
The Shady Lady Bed & Breakfast has four themed rooms awaiting you, each embracing original oddities with upgraded luxury amenities. Enjoy a heart-shaped jetted tub in the Paradise Room or go for a swim in the pool outside the Willow Tree Cabin, which feels like a mountain retreat in the middle of the desert. The Victorian Room feels stately and charming, while the Asian Room features antiques and a fireplace.
No matter which room you choose, you’ll share the property with a herd of wild peacocks that roam freely, plus complimentary breakfast, free WiFi, and snacks and beverages.
