What better way to get to know Las Vegas’ vibrant arts and culture scene than in the heart of the Las Vegas Arts District? Discover tons of shops and restaurants in this burgeoning, 18-block arts district, anchored by none other than the esteemed Vegas Theatre Co. Adored by locals and visitors alike, the Vegas Theater Company began with the name Cockroach Theater Company when it first opened back in 2003 when performing at various locations all around southern Nevada. By 2013, Cockroach Theater Company became the Vegas Theater Company, after establishing permanent residency at the 80-seat black box theater inside Art Square you can experience today.

Part of the Las Vegas Valley’s art scene for nearly twenty years, the Vegas Theatre Co. is supported by the Nevada Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts, garnering both local and national attention. Run by an all-volunteer staff and corps of dozens of volunteers, the Vegas Theatre Company hosts a variety of productions, adult acting workshops, children’s theatre camps, opera, novelty acts, improv and theatre festivals.
