Taste of Downtown
Ready to dig into Carson City’s culinary scene? Local and visiting foodies flock to Nevada’s capital city for Taste of Downtown, an annual fundraiser that serves up tasty food and drink bites from dozens of local restaurants.
Savor samples from more than 30 Carson City restaurants, shop a variety of boutiques and galleries, and jam to live music all night long during this kick-off to summer.
Taste of Downtown has grown into one of Carson City’s largest and most popular annual events. Try tantalizing tastes from more than 30 restaurants serving up everything from Thai and Indonesian to Italian, Mexican, and modern American. Ice cream, smoothies, beer, and boba are often on the sampling menu as well. Winners will be named in a variety of categories, including Best Taste, Best Sweet, Best Discovery, and more.
Between bites, bands take the stage and provide the soundtrack for the warm summer evening. Shops and galleries participate as well, keeping their doors open for picking up antiques, art, jewelry, cigars, and all kinds of goods.
