The Best Dam Barbecue Challenge brings dozens of top pitmasters to Historic Downtown Boulder City for a weekend of meat, music, and head-to-head competition.
Dozens of pitmasters go head-to-head, serving up ribs, brisket, and slow-smoked specialties in one of southern Nevada’s signature food events.
As an official Nevada State Championship Grilling Competition, sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society, the Best Dam Barbecue Challenge brings the heat with everything from slow-smoked classics to competition-ready cuts, promising plenty of chances to taste your way across a sizzling lineup.
The event takes place at Boulder City’s Bicentennial Park. Admission is free and open to the public, with individual booths offering plates for purchase.
Beyond the main competition, catch the Kids Que Challenge, Best Dam Car Show, and a family fun zone, while a vendor marketplace features wares, art, and more to round out the spread.
