Hoover Dam Rafting Adventures takes guests of all ages and experience levels down the Black Canyon Water Trail, where sheer cliffs rise nearly 2,000 feet above the Colorado River. Keep your eyes peeled along the three-hour journey for desert bighorn sheep, osprey, great blue heron, and more. And don’t forget your swimsuit, as there will be multiple opportunities to take a dip.                                                 

Don’t have a full day? Opt for the Hoover Dam Postcard Tour. Just like the all-day tour, this 90-minute excursion offers remarkable views of Hoover Dam and still-visible construction features like an old catwalk and removed rock hillsides. Guests will also go just far enough downriver to get a feel for Black Canyon’s surreal setting.

Tours depart from within Lake Mead National Recreation Area, only a short drive from Boulder City and less than an hour from Las Vegas. A box lunch is included, and all rafts are outfitted with safety equipment. At the end of the experience, air-conditioned buses will bring you back to Hoover Dam Rafting Adventures or your Las Vegas hotel (for an extra fee per person).
