Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Called the “Racing Capital of the West” by Sports Illustrated, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is home to more than a dozen different venues, ranging from go-karts and drag strips to the 1.5-mile superspeedway where NASCAR burns rubber. And did we mention Exotics Racing, where you can take a luxury racecar out for a spin on the track?

With 1,600 acres of action and daily track tours in northeastern Las Vegas, it’s easy to see why the “Diamond in the Desert” has been deemed the most remarkable race complex in the world.

NASCAR Cup Series

NASCAR fans can experience two turbo-charged stock car racing weekends and see their favorite drivers up close during the Penzoil 400 and South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The weekend events are two of the most anticipated on the NASCAR calendar, with the Penzoil 400 taking place in the spring and the South Point 400 in the fall.

The events bring nonstop action to LVMS with races from each of NASCAR’s premier series—the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series. Additionally, LVMS’s one-of-a-kind Neon Garage features live music by top entertainers all weekend long.

NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series

As if Las Vegas isn’t wild and exciting enough, the city hosts the fast and furious National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Mello Yello Drag Racing Series twice a year, two nitro-powered events you don’t want to miss. The Denso Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals takes place in the spring, and the event has become a pivotal stop on tour. The drag racers return to Las Vegas in the fall for the Dodge NHRA Nationals presented by Penzoil.

Catch all the drag racing action and ignite your senses as the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series’s top names compete on the LVMS drag strip. During both weekends, fans have the opportunity to walk amongst their favorite drivers thanks to every ticket being a Pit Pass at the most thrilling motorsports events on the planet!

The Bullring Events

Every other weekend, racing fans can enjoy local stock car racing in The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway from March through November. Whether you missed the NASCAR Cup Series or just wanna soak up more pedal-to-the-metal fun, it’s the perfect opportunity to watch drivers compete on the ⅜-mile oval track.

Four classes of the NASCAR Whelen American Series and even some specialty divisions like Jr. Late Models and Skid Plate Cars compete at the track regularly. Additionally, the Bullring hosts regional series like the SPEARS Modified Series, USAC HPD Midget Series, the Late Model Truck Series, and more to give speed enthusiasts a taste of all the racing flavors.
