There’s no better way to experience Historic Boulder City’s art deco eccentricities than with one of the largest outdoor art festivals in the Southwest. Situated about 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, Art in the Park Boulder City beckons artists and crafters from all over the West for a distinctive shopping experience surrounded by only-in-Nevada history. The event is free to the public and held over two days in downtown Boulder City, not far from even more world-renowned destinations like Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire and of course the Entertainment Capital of the World.
Although Boulder City’s population sits just below 16,000 people, the Art in the Park event draws over 100,000 visitors and more than 300 artists annually to several Boulder City parks, including Wilbur, Bicentennial, North Escalante, and South Escalante. First through third place ribbons are awarded multiple art categories, including in Fine Art, Fine Craft and Traditional Craft categories, as well as an overall “Best in Show” winner. Besides fabulous artwork, Art in the Park also features live demonstrations, live music, great vendor food and drink selections, and raffle prize giveaways. Event times are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, and 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday.
