Cablp: Criss Angel’s Breakfast, Lunch & Pizza

Situated in the heart of quiet Overton, Cablp—pronounced cuh-blip—is Moapa Valley’s newest restaurant, and all thanks to legendary Las Vegas illusionist Criss Angel, who opened this casual, family restaurant in early 2021. An acronym for Criss Angel’s breakfast, lunch & pizza, there’s something on the menu for the whole gang.

Originally opening as the Lost City Café back in 1938, Criss Angel and his team of chefs transformed this historic property into Cablp in early 2021, serving breakfast, lunch and pizza Thursday through Sunday. For breakfast, Cablp offers custom, house made coffees made with Illusia Italian Roast coffee, which pairs great with breakfast classics like Mindfest—a pancake short stack, served with bacon or sausage, one egg, and hashbrowns. Or order up savory buttermilk pancakes, french toast topped with fresh fruit, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, and more.

If you’re looking for a quick snack, CALBP’s menu is stacked with all kinds of delicious appetizers, fresh salads, sandwiches, and wraps. For dinner, dig into the Mindfreak Burger—8 oz of perfectly seasoned beef with melted cheddar cheese served on a brioche bun and loaded with bacon and onion rings, and all the fixings. And those pizza chefs don’t disappoint with all kinds of east coast-style pizzas, calzones and gourmet Italian ices. Cablp has a full espresso bar, all kinds of shakes and fountain sodas, fresh smoothies, beer and wine, and Criss’ signature drink: Mindfreeze. Made in a souvenir cup to take with you, the cocktail is made with a shot of Absolut Vodka, 5 scoops of strawberry, lemon, or mango gourmet Italian ice swirled into 22 oz. of mystical perfection.
