Tahoe Blue Event Center

If there’s one piece of the puzzle that’s been missing from the south shore of Lake Tahoe over the years, it’s a dedicated event center. Opened in 2023, the Tahoe Blue Event Center is 27,000 square feet of dynamic space that can quickly become a basketball stadium, hockey arena, convention center, or concert hall.

Situated near the aptly-named Heavenly Mountain Resort and the shores of Lake Tahoe, the event center is a gathering place for locals and visitors alike.

What Events Are at the South Lake Tahoe Event Center?

Variety is the key word at Tahoe Blue Event Center. Its event floor can be used for everything from trade shows and sporting events to musical performances, conventions, banquets, weddings, and just about every other indoor gathering you can dream up. 

The Tahoe Blue Event Center plays host to stand-up comics, national headlining musical acts, WWE pro wrestling, comic conventions, circus performances, and business expos aplenty. 

In fall 2024, the area’s first pro sports team—the Tahoe Knight Monsters—will enjoy its inaugural season at the events center. This ECHL-level hockey team is sure to bring goal-scoring relief to this puck-starved corner of the Sierra.
