Gear up for a grand gravel adventure at the base of the Ruby Mountains. Each summer, Ruby Roubaix: Gravel Fondo sends riders rolling out from Lamoille for a choose-your-own-challenge race through some of northeastern Nevada’s most spectacular backroads.
Stunning scenery, lightly traveled roads, challenging terrain, and small-town hospitality come together for one of Nevada’s most scenic gravel rides.
Bicyclists of all skill levels can get mild or wild on a mix of pavement, gravel, and dirt roads with 22-, 38-, 62-, and 120.5-mile course options. Some routes also include an electric bike category, giving riders more ways to get stoked and spoked for the Ruby Roubaix experience.
All riders begin at the Old Lamoille Schoolhouse for a mass start, with awards for the top three finishers in each category. Aid stations along the routes include water, restrooms, emergency services, and minor mechanical support. Camping is available to registered Ruby Roubaix riders and their guests, so those going the distance can make a full weekend of it.
