Bonneville Speed Week
Every August, racers from around the world head for the Bonneville Salt Flats (minutes from West Wendover, Nevada) for Bonneville Speed Week. Hosted by the Southern California Timing Association, this legendary land speed racing event brings hot rods, motorcycles, diesel trucks, streamliners, and other high-powered machines to the salt in pursuit of record-setting runs.
Take in whirlwind heats by day, then let Wendover Will welcome you back to West Wendover for restaurants, casino resorts, entertainment, and neon-lit nights.
Spectators can watch vehicles line up, launch, and race across one of the most iconic motorsports landscapes in the country. Bring sun protection, plenty of water, and everything you need for a day on the salt, where conditions can be bright, hot, windy, and remote.
