There’s no better place to get to know Nevada’s creative side than the Silver State Art Festival. Held in the heart of Nevada’s capital city each September, fine arts fans come to Carson City for some of the region’s best woodworking, basketry, and gourd art.
Presented by the Nevada Gourd Society, the Silver State Art Festival showcases fine arts and crafts while fundraising for local non-profits.
At the Silver State Art Festival, shoppers and appreciators alike will discover a stunning array of gourds, wood-turned items, jewelry, photography, paintings, and more. Peruse goods and meet artists at this indoor event where both admission and parking are free. Plus, all proceeds from the raffle—featuring 50 fantastic prizes—benefit the visual arts in northern Nevada.
The Silver State Art Festival is presented by the Nevada Gourd Society, a non-profit organization passionate about gourd growing, curing, and crafting. Since the event’s inception, more than $65,000 has been donated to northern Nevada non-profits thanks to the generosity of raffle participants.
