Coffinwood Second Saturdays

Get to Pahrump and partake in a truly only-in-Nevada experience. Coffinwood is a private residence and business with a passion for making anything coffin-shaped you can imagine—from jewelry and furniture to coolers and luggage (and actual coffins, of course). Now, the property comes alive every second Saturday of the month to host one-of-a-kind, family-friendly events.

Take up arms during the Art War, where coffin-shaped canvases get passed back and forth for numerous artists to add to each piece. If you prefer pedals to paint, sign up for the Rides and Remains car and motorcycle show, where bribing the judges is allowed. Competition categories have included “Wasteland,” “Oddity,” and “Worst of Show,” so it’s practically a guarantee that the vehicles you see here won’t be found anywhere else. You can also hold a tarantula or pet a snake courtesy of Ruby’s Reptile Rodeo, a non-profit rescue dedicated to educating about and adopting out reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and more.

Only an hour from Las Vegas and 45 minutes from Death Valley National Park, Coffinwood Second Saturdays also include live music, games, vendors, and tours of Coffinwood and its impressive hearse collection.
