Top Gun Dragstrip Drag Racing Series
High-octane racing and Nevada grit combine at the annual Top Gun Dragstrip Drag Racing Series. Test and tune your own hot rod, compete against other racers, or get in on the spectator side of the action from the grandstands at the premier drag strip in northern Nevada.
Burning rubber. Roaring engines. Whether you find yourself front row or behind the wheel of your own hot rod, there are few greater thrills than Nevada’s car racing scene.
The Top Gun Dragstrip Drag Racing Series typically runs May through September in “The Oasis of Nevada.” A variety of races take place at this National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) member track, ranging from the NHRA National Open Series Race to ET Bracket points races and jackpot racing. The race schedule is subject to change, so check Top Gun Dragstrip’s website for the latest dates and special events.
Admission to root for your favorite racer is $10 for spectators and crew. Kids ages 6-12 are $5, as are seniors ages 60 and up. Active military members and their families receive free admission. For folks who want to compete, race entry fees range from $20-$80.
