Nicknamed “The Oasis of Nevada,” Fallon is an agricultural hot spot producing everything from organic produce to grain-to-glass spirits. At the festival, you’ll get a taste of the award-winning, always-flavorful Hearts of Gold cantaloupe—practically grown around the corner from this annual Fallon event. From ice cream and shakes to daiquiris and juicy slices topped with decadent toppings, cantaloupe will be infused into a wide variety of treats.

The Fallon Cantaloupe Festival & Country Fair includes live music, a rodeo, the “Cutest Little Cowboy & Cowgirl Contest,” and a pageant crowning the Cantaloupe King & Queen. The 4H and FFA Animal Barn houses pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, dairy cows, and other farm animals, and a variety of agriculture organizations will be on site with interactive displays and activities. A quilt raffle, a car show, and tons more round out three days packed with family-friendly action.
