Tahoe Hikes

They call it the “Jewel of the Sierra Nevada,” and once you’ve seen it… you get it. Vast, crystal-clear, and encircled by towering peaks and forest-blanketed mountain wonderlands—all crisscrossed by hundreds of miles of pristine hiking trails—Lake Tahoe is a hiker’s paradise. With meadows bursting with wildflowers, alpine lakes and streams, and million-dollar views of Lake Tahoe around every bend, it’s no surprise that Tahoe hikes peak the interest of hikers from all over the globe.

With thousands of hiking trails at your toe-tips, ranging from easy front-country ambles—like the brand-new, waters-edge East Shore Trail—to way-off-grid, multi-day backpacking trips, or even no-hassle, gondola-accessed ski resort walks to a bird’s-eye view of the lake, sublime hiking awaits from South Lake Tahoe all the way to Mt. Rose. Come see what the #Nevadaside is all about.

So proud of my kids & Charlie (the doggy)!! We hiked to Raintree today and they did great! It’s tough for littles, especially my youngest, but they endured. My oldest wants to bag a peak next and they were asking about overnight backpacking trips too! I see more fun hikes in the future for them!

Happy Memorial Day!!! 🇺🇸 I hope everyone has a fun and safe day! I’m heading out to Sedona, Arizona today to car camp for a week 🏜
-
I spent my Memorial Day Weekend hiking A LOT! I started this hike at 4:30am and watched the sun rise over Las Vegas ☀️ In 4-5 hours I did 7.4 miles with 2,000ft of elevation gain! For me being out of shape from a month or two of not hiking, I’m happy to be jumping right back into it 💪

What did you do this weekend?

We went on a beautiful hike up to a waterfall today. It’s so surprising how many beautiful places there are to see in our area in Nevada.

We are having a blast exploring this area and we are really appreciating our time here. I wish more things were open for us to explore but it’s nice to find little jewels like this place.

Our transition into fulltime RVing hasn’t been difficult to our surprise. The boys are really enjoying all of the outdoor time and we’re exploring everyday! We are excited to see where our path takes us next!
