Southern Nevada’s old west heritage comes alive May 1-3 at the 18th annual Wild West Extravaganza and Bluegrass Festival in Pahrump, featuring historical reenactments, the Littl’ Britches Youth Rodeo, zany outhouse races, 4-H activities, specialty vendors, local entertainment acts, and more. Admission to the family-friendly festival is FREE!
A parade will be held Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Entries are welcome. The Extravaganza runs from 6-9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Check out a theatrical wild west melodrama, ride in a hay wagon, grab some chuck wagon grub, interact with historical reenactors, experience shotgun weddings, bathe in the sounds of Country and Southern Rock music, and participate in a host of family-friendly games and activities.
The three-day Wild West Extravaganza is held at Petrack Park in Pahrump, corner of Highway 160 and Basin Avenue.
